PLoS ONE 10(5): e0127166. マウス抗ヒトアグリカン抗体であるクローン7E1は、ヒトアグリカン、プロテオグリカン、および軟骨と中枢神経系（CNS）の両方の細胞外マトリックス（ECM）の主成分を形成するアグリカン/バーシカンプロテオグリカンファミリーのメンバーを認識します。 ヒトアグリカンに対するコアタンパク質指向性抗体のパネルを使用した研究では、CNS内のさまざまなアグリカンアイソフォームの分布が明らかになり、それに応じてアイソフォームがクラスター1〜5に細分化されました。 これらの研究では、脳組織と軟骨組織を比較したときに、これらのアイソフォームの相対的な存在量に違いがあることも示されました（Virgintino et al.2009）。 マウス抗ヒトアグリカン抗体であるクローン7E1は、約205kDaのトリプシン由来のアグリカンフラグメントを認識します。 注：当初はアイソタイプIgMであると説明されていましたが、クローン7E1は不安定であることが判明し、オリジネーターによって再クローン化され、新しい安定したサブクローンはIgG1であることが確認されました。
