PLoS ONE 7(3): e33707. マウス抗ブタ内皮細胞、プラスチック接着リンパ球の免疫原に対して最初に産生されたクローンMIL11は、ブタ内皮細胞の主要なサブセットを認識することが示されています。 MIL11は当初、上皮膜下の固有層にネットワークを形成する腸内の毛細血管内皮の特徴的なパターンを染色するものとして同定されました。 その後、腸、肺、腎臓、皮膚など、調べたほとんどの臓器の毛細血管内皮に染色が観察されました。 クローンMIL11は大動脈および他の動脈の内皮を染色しないことが観察されたが、静脈内皮はMIL11染色に陽性であった。 しかし、心臓壁、腎糸球体、海綿体に関連するものを含む、静脈内皮細胞の一部の集団は、MIL11染色に対して陰性であるように見えます（Wilson et al.1996）。
